Save Your Loved Ones – Who Will be Next?

This is a follow up to my previous blog about how one group in New York is raising money to help with the fight against the dreaded disease known as Alzheimer’s & Dementia. If you had a loved one diagnosed with this disease wouldn’t you want to help them in any way possible? Of course, you would and that is why it is so important to support this program now so that maybe in the near future this diagnosis will no longer be a robber of one’s life and those of the caregivers. I want to do my part in supporting people who are affected by this horrible disease and their caregivers. I began my drive on March 1, 2018 and will continue through May 6, 2018 by donating 10% of sales.

The 2018 FiveBoro Bike Tour is taking place on May 6, 2018 in New York. Proceeds will go to CaringKind, the Heart of Alzheimer’s Caregiving. This organization provides free information, assistance and support for those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, as well as for their family members, caregivers and professionals.

Save Your Loved Ones – Who Will Be Next?

How can you help? They are riding their bikes 40 miles.

On May 6, 2018, Alex will be participating in the drive to reach a goal by bicycling throughout New York (a 40 mile trip). This is who I will be sponsoring and I hope you will join me by making a purchase at www.dkbrowncreations.com or www.etsy.com/shop/dkbrowncreations. As indicated earlier I will be donating 10% of all sales to this worthy cause. Will you help? I realize you don’t know me and I am practically a stranger to you and there are so many folks who take advantage of others with promotions like this, but that is not who I am – when I say I am going to do something – I do it.

If you choose not to make a purchase, that is ok too but please visit this link to make a direct donation:  https://give.caringkindnyc.org/participant/Alexc
